Kisses in the Rain by Krista Lynne Jensen Clean contemporary romance. LDS content, but not preachy. This is not a light-hearted romance. It deals with some serious issues—grief, abuse, physical injury and recovery, guilt, trust, healing. The main characters, Gracie and Jace, are strong and compelling as they work out their differences and insecurities. There were parts that felt slower and forced, but overall, a good read. 4 stars.
His Right Hand by Mette Ivie Harrison Linda Wallheim Mystery #2 A pretty good twisty thriller. I thought it was well-written, not preachy, and very compassionate. And freaky twisty. Keeping June by Shannen Crane Camp June series #4. Must read in order A clean romance and a sweet end to a wonderful series. Great characters. I recommend this to anyone who likes a good clean read with fun characters. This book has LDS (religious) content, but is not preachy. 4 1/2 stars.
The Secret Life of Daydreams by Lucinda Whitney A clean romance and more. Deals with falling in love, losing and regaining your faith, living with an aging parent, and more. I liked the characters, but I loved the setting! While primarily a romance, it could also be labelled as General/Women & Family Issues. Contains LDS (religious) content. 4 stars.
